1. Input 🤓👨🏻🏫 👩🏻🏫
Using tools, information, website, comparison to content of an individual learner, deep understanding of collecting and gathering new data. People who are especially talented in the Input theme have a craving to know more. Often they like to collect and archive all kinds of information internally.
You can totally relate to see tabs after new tabs open once you are exploring new information in browser. I gather as much information as I possibly can, from internet, articles, magazine, newspaper, or YouTube videos. My information has a short-lifecycle, just like bread comes out from bakery. I would always interest in new technology or new platform, so a natural curiosity to expose to further tools.
I am not technological person, I remember when I am in my elementary, I used to hate technology, I would rather spend my time to chat with my friends and sisters. My Asian parents, they are not the one I would search to help with my homework, but I remember we would get an hour to go to my dad friend’s house and spend time with their kids too..
Some sentences which I think was accurately define me was:

Out of all the talents in this insight, what would you like for others to see most in you?
Learner and achiever is within my top strengths. I would be deeply sad and sometimes put down, when people discourage me to get new information, they said it is not practical or you are just a nerd-book. Degree is just a degree and it is not worth it. Lots of study and no results. Which is true but still I am energized by steady and deliberate journey (ignorance -> competence) and growing confidence, I love to study people, reading psychology Today magazines. We just have aspired to be beyond if we are, we might need to read different type of books.
2. Learner 🧑🏻🎓🧐
External, exploring new and broad exposure, context and study the past, love to see and try new to encounter, and find our enjoyment of learning experience that leads to ever evolving paradigms ever-expanding perspectives. People who love to learn will continue to evolve. Fresh or just new information is what I would look for.
Learner-high — energy rush to our brain when I got exposed to new things. Social thinker — a lot of reading, processing type, I attend a lot of conference and network. I don’t make a lot of friends or keep in touch with all of them often, so I would say I love to hear from their stories and learn from their experiences.
I love to teach, however, I hate to repeat myself or teach the same thing over and over again. That is why I remember I used to love and eager to learn this tool and cool platform ‘HubSpot’, and ‘Facebook ads’, and ‘Powtoon video-making’. But then, I remember I was put onto one position to train others over and over again. I quickly create a simple PPT and step-by-step words for other to read. I was bored and fell into monotonous tasks which I feel like burn out afterwards.
As I read my personalised strengths insights, what words, phrases, or lines stand out to me was ‘student’, ‘discoverer’, ‘self-helper’, ‘continuous improvers, ‘experts‘, ‘continuous learner’, ‘self-improvement’, & ‘recreational reading’.
Adjectives would be ‘curious’, ‘interested;, ‘inquisitive’, ‘open-minded’ , ‘studious, competent’
Out of all the talents in this insight, what would you like for others to see most in you? I find life to be intriguing, the basement is that sometimes I might become kind of ‘know-it-all’ but lack of focus on result. Perceive as bookish. And I remember my close friend said I might be a thinker, I have a lot of thoughts and ideas. Which is true as in dominant themes,
Collective information. I don’t mind paying for gaining this new information. All my family are not a reader type nor my close friends, we watch our parents as we grow up and that is true, and I am grateful that I come to Sydney, Australia. At the age of 19, I was exposed to free books that I could borrow and this loan membership in city of Sydney. I felt like all this time my ignorance are filled with knowledge with plenty of free t. By then, every week I would finish reading one book, and come the week after to return and pick up new book. I paid for 3–4 days webinar or workshop in career or accomplishing balance in mental health.
3. Harmony 🧑🏿🤝🙋🏼
Stabilise in the emotion by the changing and fluctuating. We don’t enjoy conflict; rather, we seek areas of agreement. ADAPTABILITY. Fortunately, our attitudes and motivations are adaptable. From the results of 15 years of longitudinal case studies, the research demonstrated that with the support of a professional coach, we can dial up or down specific attitudes, resulting in positive changes to business results.
Although everyone is unique, you show no favouritism toward any person. Typically your actions and words prove that you equalize the amount of attention, opportunities, or resources that you give to each individual.
You look for areas of agreement. In your view there is little to be gained from conflict and friction, so you seek to hold them to a minimum. When you know that the people around you hold differing views, you try to find the common ground. You try to steer them away from confrontation and toward harmony. In fact, harmony is one of your guiding values. You can’t quite believe how much time is wasted by people trying to impose their views on others. 4. Responsibility ✍🏼 🤳🏼 💪🏼
People who are especially talented in the Responsibility theme take psychological ownership of what they say they will do. They are committed to stable values such as honesty and loyalty.
Your Responsibility theme forces you to take psychological ownership for anything you commit to, and whether large or small, you feel emotionally bound to follow it through to completion. Your good name depends on it. If for some reason you cannot deliver, you automatically start to look for ways to make it up to the other person. Apologies are not enough. Excuses and rationalizations are totally unacceptable. You will not quite be able to live with yourself until you have made restitution. This conscientiousness, this near obsession for doing things right, and your impeccable ethics, combine to create your reputation: utterly dependable. When assigning new responsibilities, people will look to you first because they know it will get done. When people come to you for help — and they soon will — you must be selective. Your willingness to volunteer may sometimes lead you to take on more than you should.
5. Arranger 🧑⚖ ️
Executing, getting something done, similar to achiever, but it is getting constructing in collaborative productivity. ‘Juggler’, ‘Orchestrator of improvement’, ‘Multiplicity’, ‘Flexibility’, willing to change, ‘interactive’.
It does not mean as ‘organised’ or discipline. With arranger, we are more fluid and spontaneous. Embrace complexity
High focus and seek partner in this to help our approach. Individualisation want to get the right fit in a person, maximise the engagement. But arranger is people-person, it does make us uncomfortable since we want to get the right person with right skill set to maximise the result or get the job done.
Opposed to command, it does mean more dependent and intensify the instructions based. Which is advancing and accelerating your career and business goals. So signing up for challenge, or things that I can complex or solve. Look for opportunity that is not there, tweaks our job description, or make an improvement to adjust the business performance. Often these individuals played the role of a teacher, coach, or mentor even when that was not their official title.
You are a conductor. When faced with a complex situation involving many factors, you enjoy managing all of the variables, aligning and realigning them until you are sure you have arranged them in the most productive configuration possible. In your mind there is nothing special about what you are doing. You are simply trying to figure out the best way to get things done. But others, lacking this theme, will be in awe of your ability.
“How can you keep so many things in your head at once?” they will ask. “How can you stay so flexible, so willing to shelve well-laid plans in favor of some brand-new configuration that has just occurred to you?” But you cannot imagine behaving in any other way. You are a shining example of effective flexibility, whether you are changing travel schedules at the last minute because a better fare has popped up or mulling over just the right combination of people and resources to accomplish a new project. From the mundane to the complex, you are always looking for the perfect configuration. Of course, you are at your best in dynamic situations. Confronted with the unexpected, some complain that plans devised with such care cannot be changed, while others take refuge in the existing rules or procedures. You don’t do either. Instead, you jump into the confusion, devising new options, hunting for new paths of least resistance, and figuring out new partnerships — because, after all, there might just be a better way.
